Cecile Sabourin – Coordinator: A member of the International Steering Committee for the Charter of Human Responsibilities, she is a professor at the University of Quebec at Abitibi-Témiscaminque. She has a degree in economics, with tourism as her specialty, and is particularly interested in the political and social issues that flow from the dominant economic model. She headed the program on “women and the economy” sponsored by the Alliance for a Responsible, Plural and United World (2000-2004) and as  President of the Quebec Federation of University Teachers (FQPPU), where her duties involved promoting public education and labor organization on campuses.

Fabienne Preséntey – Associate Coordinator: A sociologist and a former social worker and free lance journalist; she is a recipient of Helen Caldicott Peace Prize, for her work linking women’s groups in the Middle East. She has lived in Europe and spent five years the Middle East covering all aspects of that specific human conflict. She has also worked as a researcher in the fields of spousal abuse, incest and family violence in Québec and Canada. A cinema graduate she has branched out to use her skills as an artistic director, events organizer, and graphic designer.
